While Madonna’s music entertains us and brings joy into our lives, we couldn’t call ourselves true Madonna fans if weren’t following her example of compassion towards our fellow man. To date Madonna has publicly supported over twenty charities, and has used her celebrity to help mankind and make a difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate. Right Now, the Uplifiting Project is participating in The Give, a grant contest hosted by Cultivate Wines who will donate $50,000 to one winning non-profit organization with the most votes, and $10,00 to the five runners-up.
